Chris Paddack, a starting pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, was born and raised in the heart of Texas. Raised in a single-parent household alongside his mother and two older brothers, Paddack learned the value of hard work, mental strength, and dedication from an early age.

Beyond the world of baseball, most of Paddack’s time is spent creating memories with family. His commitment to keeping himself surrounded by loved ones is something he cherishes the most.

Born and raised in East Texas, I developed a deep-rooted passion for the outdoors from an early age. Hunting quickly became more than a hobby—it turned into a way of life, especially when I discovered my love for waterfowl. When I’m not in the field, I work as a lineman, bringing the same dedication and grit to the job as I do to every hunt. I value time with friends, good stories, and making memories in the blind. For me, it’s all about hard work, strong bonds, and chasing birds every chance I get.

Born and raised in Odessa, Texas, I now call Lubbock home. My passion for waterfowl hunting runs deep, and there’s nowhere I’d rather be than in the wide-open landscapes of West Texas. Alongside my career as a professional baseball player, I’m grateful to live a life that allows me to fully dedicate myself to both the sport I love and the outdoors that ground me. Baseball gives me structure and drive, while hunting brings a sense of peace and purpose—both shaping who I am on and off the field.
